Improvement Needed: Study Finds Little Progress in Participation of Early-Career Registered Nurses in Hospital Quality Improvement Activities
As the largest group of health care providers in the United States, engaging registered nurses in quality improvement efforts is critical to improving oru health care system, patient care and our nation's health. According to a study published in the Journal of Nursing Care Quality, too few nurses are involved in quality improvement efforts and the number is not increasing.
